Devlog5 - Jumping Challenge
As development enters its final stage, I’ve started cleaning up the placeholders and messy bits left behind earlier in production. That’s why this update comes a little later.
The game is planned to release sometime in November, depending on the results of testing. Of course, I hope the earlier, the better.
Moving Forward in the Dark
By this late stage of the game, with higher health and stronger character abilities, it might feel like there’s no longer a need to tread as carefully as at the beginning.
Since most areas are confined to a single screen, many routes are already clear from the first glance—which is great—but I wanted to bring back a sense of exploration.
When you lack information, and you come across a pit—should you leap over it, or jump down into it?
The Final Challenge
As a platformer, how could it not put your jumping skills to the test?
It may look intimidating, but if you’ve been carefully collecting abilities, it’s absolutely nothing to fear.
This is the last devlog before release. I’ll be fully focused on polishing the final parts of the game. Stay tuned!
